Rush Kappa Sigma

Where else can you find future TV producers, businessmen, doctors, and engineers bar hopping with alumni in San Francisco on a cable car and then rallying at six in the morning to cook breakfast for the local homeless? The answer: Kappa Sig.

The Beta Zeta Chapter of Kappa Sigma was founded at Stanford University in 1899. Since that date, Kappa Sigs have been characterized by their enthusiasm, commitment to each other, and their excellence in academics, community service, and leadership on and off campus. Our strength lies in our diversity; no one label could ever capture the essence of Kappa Sigma.

Throughout day-to-day life, Kappa Sigma always has something to offer. We have arguably the best chef on campus, we host several of our campus' biggest parties including Mud Wrestling, Luau, Mardi Gras, and Foam, and we participate in great off-campus events like Bay-to-Breakers, Cable Car Night in SF, and date dashes to local hot spots. Kappa Sigs can be seen around campus taking part in various community service events, collecting money for the homeless, and helping out at the Bing Nursery School. At Kappa Sig there is never a dull moment. Brothers are always up for a game of pick-up basketball or volleyball, a run to the Goose, a barbecue in our backyard, or a trip up to the City. You will definitely find people eager and willing to have fun.

The only real way to get a feel for the brothers in the house is to come up for a visit, play some volleyball on our sand court, and meet the guys that make up Kappa Sigma. We look forward to meeting you.

Kappa Sigma Rush begins Spring Quarter 2006. See you then!
